Spirit Drum Making Workshop – Full day
Private session or group workshop

Drums are the heartbeat of Mother Earth.

Create your own personal spirit drum at our frame drum making workshop. All supplies are provided to make a Native American style frame drum. Please be sure to wear your play clothes, since we will be staining the drum frames and there is water involved with stretching the hide. This is an all-day event. We take a one hour lunch break and small breaks during the day. These drums have a nice, deep tone suitable for journeying, meditation, and fun at a drum circle.

Deposits are required and there are no refunds. If you should need to cancel, you may apply your entire deposit to a drum created by Pathdrummer or as a credit for imported items that we sell.

We offer frame drum making workshops in 14", 15" and 16" sizes. Rawhide drum heads can be done in elk or deer.

Elk gives the stamina and endurance to get through the edges from the known to the unknown. The vibration of elk opens the third chakra, the solar plexus.

Buffalo is used when we seek wisdom and guidance from the Ancient Ones, drumming Buffalo opens the door to that vibration. Buffalo is associated with Wisdom and Abundance

Custom Spirit Drums

Here at Pathdrummer, our passion is drumming and we love to create Spirit Drums for others. All of our drums are created with love and positive energy and in a sacred and traditional manner.
Contact us to discuss your needs and wants concerning your personal Spirit Drum to ensure that the drum we create for you has the right intent and energy for you. Each drum comes complete with a drum stick, care sheet, and organic shea butter. Custom orders take approximately 3 - 4 weeks for completion. A deposit of half is required for all custom work with the remainder due before we ship to you. Prices begin at $50 for custom artwork on your Spirit Drum.

We accept PayPal, Venmo, checks, and money orders. Drums require special handling, therefore shipping is $30 per drum in the continental United States.

Moose is associated with self-esteem and trusting ourselves to act in the moment. The vibration of moose helps open the crown chakra to receive information from the divine.

Deer opens the heart chakra, teaching us to trust and empower the qualities of love and wisdom.

Sacred Sound Journey - 2 hours

Let go of all that no longer serves you and take a refreshing deep journey through the healing art of sound. Feel the energy and vibrations of Beverly, the Spirit Awakening Drum. We use a variety instruments that include gongs, Tibetan bowls, chimes, toning and more to create a sound healing experience that will vibrate and activate every cell in your body, leaving you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Please dress comfortably and bring items to create your own cozy space, such as a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, crystals, water, and anything else to create a comfortable laying down experience.

Energy Infused Drum Meditation - 30 minutes/2 hours

Vibrational drumming is a powerful tool that helps connect your mind, body, and soul. Our guided drum meditation allows you to go deep into a meditative state of consciousness which helps take you out of your head and into your heart. Calming one’s self allows spiritual and personal healing to help you prepare and open your way to new beginnings.

No prior meditation experience is necessary. A journal is also helpful.

Vibrational Drum Bath with our Awakening Drum, Beverly - approx. time - 60/90 minutes

As we face each day our bodies become out of tune with our natural rhythm. As you lie under Beverly, the Awakening Drum, positive energy is channeled through the drum to help your inner soul regain its natural rhythm and balance. This is a unique experience as you feel the vibrations bathe your body while you are immersed by sound, creating a deep state of relaxation which strengthens your bodies natural healing abilities.

Wear comfortable clothing and bring mats, blankets, or pillows to be comfortable lying on the floor. A journal is also helpful.

Basic Spirit Drumming - 3 hours

The drum is one of the oldest tools used in healing, meditation, relaxation and journeying. Thom Dandridge of Pathdrummer will be using a frame drum to introduce you to the basics of reaching a meditative state using and playing the drum for yourself. This class will allow you to use the drum to open up your ability to meditate, relax, and begin a healing process. You will also discover how to open your intuitive self through the use of the drum.

It is fine if you do not own your own drum, we always have extras for you to use.

Discover Your Spirit Animal - 2 hours

Would you like to meet your totem animal? Our spirit animals walk with us from birth and many times we find the need to connect with our totem animal for guidance in the spirit world. As we grow, we encounter challenges and shifts in our inner self which our power animals help us to navigate. They help to guide and protect us as we make this journey called life and they are there to comfort and protect us from the unknown and unseen. Using the drum and other modalities we will help to create a sacred space, allowing you to meet your totem animal.

Drum Circle Facilitation – 1 hour

Did you know that playing music was good for you?!?

Recreational Music Making is an enjoyable music-based group activity. There is no musical background experience required. Group drumming is great for helping people communicate and cooperate. It helps to relieve stress and discover your musical creativity. This is a hands-on activity that enables everyone to join together, function as a team and have fun!

Thom Dandridge is a certified Remo HealthRHYTHMS® facilitator. He is available for drum circle facilitation for your corporate event, your congregation, or your community.

Everything (except chairs) is provided so that all ages can have a great time!

Pricing for corporate drum circle facilitation are listed below. Also, a flat rate can be contracted in advance of your event.
