As the river follows its path downstream, each droplet of water makes its mark. Some stay in the main flow to take the path of least resistance. Others meet up with obstacles, only to bounce off and find other obstacles in which to crash. Then, there are those droplets that get stuck in a never ending circle, or so it seems, only to eventually be catapulted out to find their way again.
Our lives are led much like these droplets of water. Some of us are able to flow smoothly downstream encountering no obstacles in life. What can be learned from never having to fight for anything in your whole lifetime? Some of us run into obstacles that change the course of our lives. Some will find these obstacles to be overpowering and will crash and burn, never having lived to their full potential. Some obstacles make no difference. They are insignificant and not worth the time or effort to even think about them. Some will be able to flow effortlessly around these obstacles to form pathways for a better life for others on Mother Earth.
How we handle these obstacles as they are put in our path is what makes us all individuals. We must learn to work, love, live, and play together in a harmonious balance. When all of these droplets of people are put together the forces can be extremely powerful.
The river shapes its path and creates many wonderful things. As individuals we can emulate the river and shape our world for our future generations to the highest and greatest good.
