Today the journey of the Drum has started. We are headed to the West to discover the places that the Drum should be played. We anticipate meeting many new people and enjoying many new experiences. New friendships will be made and cherished.
The day has been gray and dreary, although the sun came out in time for us to see it bring the day to a close as it bathed the sky with bright pinks and golds. The first day of our travels has ended well.
